First task was to look at my 2009 events (see list on the right). Not sure they are all achievable yet (the Vitruvian is certainly vulnerable) but we shall see. Cycling is the number one priority this year so swimming and running are definitely taking a back seat so not sure a middle distance race is a good idea. Am looking forward to getting involved with more TTs and also the training required to improve - I aim to love my bike this year.

Hi
Just stumbled across your blog. I’m currently making a turbo training website which allows people to upload plans and play them using an online timer.
You might like it and may be useful. turbotraining.co.uk

You've definately got to do the Vitruvian mate. I've got 6 minutes to make up on you from last year!

I'm pretty sure you will make that up on the swim alone, asuming the Japanese haven't harpooned me before I get onto the bike. Yep, still struggling with the weight, and the weather since I've arrived back in the UK hasn't helped - it's a struggle just to get out of bed.
Just looked at the map - Rutland Water is a loooong way from Gosport. I think I will give the Vitruvian a miss this year.
